Crochet hook (size E/4 or 6/0 will do great)
Stitch marker (if needed)
Stuffing
Aaaaand last but not least: your crafty hands!
Abbreviations:
sc: single crochet
st: stitch
EVEN: sc in each st around
sl st: slip stitch
BLO: back loops only
FLO: front loops only
ch: chain
MC: magic circle/ring or adjustable loop
INC: increase (2sc in a st)
~sc: 1sc in ~st(s)
x~: repeat ~ times
(~): ~ sts total in that row/round
R~: row/round ~
f/o: finish off
Pattern:
R1 4sc in MC (4)
R2 INC x4 (8)
R3 INC, 1sc x4 (12)
R4 EVEN in BLO (12)
R5 EVEN (12) sl st
R6 ch1, INC x12 (24) sl st in ch1, f/o, leave long tail for sewing onto your amigurumi.
If you want to make it as a hair clip, you need to make another circle for the base:
R1 4sc in MC (4)
R2 INC x4 (8)
R3 INC, 1sc x4 (12) sl st, f/o.
Stuff the hat with stuffing, then sew it onto your amigurumi or the hat base.
After sewing on the hat onto the base, hot-glue on a clip onto the base, now you are finished! : ) You can add a mini bow on it so it looks more cute!
